Netball

This year St Hugh’s Netball Club has had a big intake of new team members, and we’re moving up the leagues!

We compete in the Oxford College Netball league in both Michaelmas and Hilary terms, and our A and B teams are both thriving in the 3rd division! We are looking forward to playing Cuppers at the end of Hilary term and to involving more people in the club during Mixed Cuppers in Trinity.

We try to practise once a fortnight on Saturday afternoons and all are welcome whether they’ve never heard of netball before or play for England! We regularly use the netball court at our sports ground on Woodstock Road which we share with Keble. We also have circuits every Wednesday evening from 5-6pm, sometimes with the St Hugh’s boat club.

We also do club socials, with a welcome party for new members at the end of Michaelmas, and other events during the year including sports formal. There is a very involved netball community at St Hugh’s so we are hoping for lots more social fun this term and in Trinity.

If you have any questions or would like to be part of/get involved with St Hugh’s Netball Club, then please email any of the committee and we would be happy to help! We’d also be delighted to hear from any alumni who’d like to catch up with the best netball club in Oxford!
