The JCR committee exists to serve the student body. A list of committee positions, along with their contact details, can be found on the ‘Meet the Committee’ page.
The JCR committee is accountable to the JCR through fortnightly JCR Meetings, which are run by an Independent Chair. JCR meetings provide an opportunity for the JCR to question the committee and pass motions mandating the committee to act on behalf of the JCR.
Past minutes of both JCR meetings and committee meetings are published online in the interests of transparency and accountability.
Elections to the JCR committee are held in 5th week and 6th week of Michaelmas term every year.
