Welcome all St Hugh's Chemists!
My name is Sarah Wong and I will be your Chemsoc President for the coming year. I will be organising social events throughout the year so that all chemistry students and tutors/fellows at St Hugh's can be brought together and get to know eachother. It will provide opportunities to build/strengthen social ties with other chemists and chemistry fellows at St-Hughs.
I hope to organise one partially funded event either later this term or near the beginning of trinity term - and another partially funded events in Michaelmas of 2010 depending on funding. The main event of the year will be the Chemistry Christmas Meal. A very exciting opportunity to get merry and for the first years, celebrate getting through the first term!
I will send out emails regarding organised events to all chemists so that they may get involved and join in the fun if they so wish :) If anyone has any ideas for events please do feel free to contact me at jinsze.wong@st-hughs.ox.ac.uk
