St Hugh's College Chapel Choir

The Chapel Choir sings for the weekly service of Choral Evensong on Sunday evenings. We draw members from all three common rooms to sing a wide range of repertoire, from Palestrina to Karl Jenkins. We are glad to welcome new members who are interested in joining a successful and thriving choir. No audition or particular religious affiliation is necessary.

Rehearsals are held twice a week in St Hugh's College Chapel: on Fridays from 5-6pm (with tea and cake), and Sundays from 4-5.30pm before evensong at 6.15pmFree food in hall is given to those who attend both rehearsals and the service, and evensong on Sunday is followed by a free supper.

Choral Awards and an Organ Scholarship are awarded each year. For more information about this or anything else choir related, please email the Senior Organ Scholar, Rosie Wells.

Find us on Facebook, or follow @shugchapelchoir on Twitter for updates and more details. Recordings of pieces sung by the choir can be heard here.
