Music

Hughs Music

St Hugh's Music Society is responsible for co-ordinating most of the musical events at St Hugh's, including termly concerts featuring the college's various musical groups. Yearly events include a summer concert on the college lawns every Trinity term; the ever-popular Christmas concert in Michaelmas; and a Hilary choral concert involving all the vocal groups in college. Also held in Hilary is the Anna Haxworth Prize competition and recital, open to all first year students of the college. Over the last year, we have been working to promote music in local schools through our successful School Choirs Project.

For information about any of the musical activities in college, contact the President (john.mansell@st-hughs.ox.ac.uk).
