After three highly successful terms as somewhat of an underground society, the St Hugh’s Pickling and Fermentation Society wants to go Official this year!
With a range of activities from making home-brewed red onions, to comparing international chutneys; Pickle Soc does it all.
In all seriousness, we have quite a large community of people in Hugh’s who want to:
- Meet to discuss pickles on a bi-weekly basis
- Have cheese and pickle pairing nights at least once a term
- Send photos of international pickling endeavours (and learn about other cultures via pickley exploits)
- Use the pickling space as a place to relax from academic rigour
- Meet people in other years and across other subjects
- Have a community which is a friendly environment for drinkers and non-drinkers alike
- Continue chatting on the pickling WhatsApp to exchange pickle tips and tricks
