Peer Supporters
peersupport@st-hughs.ox.ac.uk
The loveliest, smiliest people you could hope to meet. Keep an eye out for their drop-in sessions on the JCR page, or get in contact with them individually – more details can be found on the Peer Support page. They are JCR members who have taken the time to be trained to help support you when you need it most.
St Hugh’s Counsellor
counsellor@st-hughs.ox.ac.uk
01865 274945
We are lucky to have a specific Hugh’s counsellor, who can help you with multiple mental health issues or if you’re going through a tough time. The counsellor’s name is Elizabeth Treasure.
Appointments can be made through the college nurse or via email directly.
St Hugh’s Nurse
nurse@st-hughs.ox.ac.uk
01865 274945
In a recent welfare survey, the college nurse was an extremely popular welfare resource. Her name is Sarah Dragonetti, and as well as assessing your physical health she can give advice on mental health issues too. The nurse’s office is located on the first floor of the MGA building, but she can drop in on rooms if arranged in advance and stairs are a problem.
Her timetable can be found here.
In addition, a doctor will be on site in college from 8.30 – 10.15am every Monday morning from 1st to 8th week. Appointments can be booked on the day. Again, doctors are not just there to aid physical health – they can provide support, advice and treatment for mental health issues too.
Chaplain – Dr Shaun Henson
shaun.henson@st-hughs.ox.ac.uk

Shaun is in College on most weekdays, and Sunday afternoons and evenings during term, and on Tuesdays is in his room (Main Building 24) between 3.00pm to 4.00pm.
It is well worth noting that Shaun is suicide prevention trained, so if you are concerned about yourself or a friend, having a chat with him could be a really good idea.
Tutor for Women – Professor Senia Paseta
